The bindings, usually figured maple or Tasmanian Blackwood, have been upgraded to breathtaking Figured Koa, complementing the stunning back and sides. Every detail has been meticulously attended to, from the purflings on the sides and top to the abalone/ebony rosette, creating a visual masterpiece that matches the guitar's extraordinary sound. At the heart of the O-35 lies its exceptional tonal qualities. The AAAA Sitka Spruce soundboard and stunning AAAA Ebony back and sides combine to deliver a bright, articulate sound with remarkable sustain.

These carefully selected tonewoods bring forth distinct overtones that captivate both player and listener. The O-shaped soundbox design — Lowden’s iconic “Original” — further enhances the guitar’s voice by increasing treble response while balancing the natural bass-heavy characteristics of larger-bodied guitars. Crafted with precision, the 5-piece Mahogany/Rosewood neck ensures superior stability and optimal transfer of vibrations, resulting in exceptional playability. The ebony fingerboard with maple bindings provides a smooth surface for effortless fretting, allowing your fingers to glide with ease. The GL standard neck profile offers a comfortable playing experience, gradually increasing from 45mm at the nut to 57mm at the 14th fret. Attention to detail continues with the exquisite Figured Koa bindings and Mahogany–Rocklite–Maple purflings that highlight the guitar’s craftsmanship.

Premium gold Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons provide precise tuning stability while adding a touch of refinement. Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

Classical and flamenco guitars need nylon strings; acoustic guitars need steel acoustic sets (bronze or phosphor bronze); electric guitars need electric sets (nickel or steel); bass guitars, ukuleles, violins and ouds each need their own sets. If you are not sure, send us your instrument model on WhatsApp at +971 55 351 5764.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.

Gauge is the thickness of the strings, usually given in thousandths of an inch (for example 10-46). Lighter gauges are easier to play and bend; heavier gauges give a fuller sound and more tension.
