Sadek Music, the D-X1 Black is an excellent choice for musicians looking for an affordable, high-quality instrument with the famous Martin sound. The D-X1 Black is an affordable acoustic Dreadnought model available in a striking satin black finish. The body & #39;s top, back, and sides are made of high-pressure laminate (HPL), a durable material that doesn't & #39;t sacrifice the classic Martin tone you know and love. This sleek, special addition to the remastered X Series lineup includes playability enhancements like a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience.

The D-X1 Black from Martin's X Series is an affordable yet stylish Dreadnought acoustic guitar that offers the classic Martin tone at a price point accessible to all musicians. Its striking satin black finish makes it visually stand out, while its high-pressure laminate (HPL) construction for the top, back, and sides ensures durability without compromising on the sound quality you expect from Martin.

Its iconic and versatile body size is loud and projective with strong bass, lending itself to any genre, from folk to bluegrass to rock to country and everything in between. It also features chrome closed tuning machines, a birch laminate neck with Richlite® fingerboard, and a herringbone pattern around the rosette. All X Series models also come with a softshell case.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
