Product Description

The Ovation Applause AB-044-BB-G electro-acoustic steel-string guitar combines Ovation's iconic roundback design with a striking high-gloss Blue Burst finish. Built around Ovation's signature mid-depth Lyrachord® composite roundback bowl paired with a selected spruce top, this guitar produces balanced acoustic volume, clear note separation, and high feedback resistance when amplified live.

Equipped with the authentic Applause AP2T active preamp system, this model features an under-saddle piezo pickup, a 3-band graphic EQ, master volume control, and an integrated LED digital chromatic tuner with an auto-mute function for silent stage tuning. The satin-finished nato neck features an easy-playing slim C-profile, an ovangkol fingerboard, and a smooth single cutaway for full upper-fret access. Available now at Sadek Music with official warranty and fast delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
