Product Description

The Ovation Applause Jump Series AEO-69-5S BK is a modern Orchestra Model (OM) electro-acoustic guitar engineered for fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and stage performers. Featuring a solid-feel spruce top paired with Ovation's iconic mid-depth Lyrachord® composite roundback bowl, this instrument delivers an articulate midrange response, tight low-end, and high resistance to acoustic feedback on stage.

Equipped with the Applause AP3PT active preamp system, this model features an under-saddle piezo pickup, a 3-band EQ, master volume, low battery LED, and a built-in digital chromatic tuner with an auto-mute function. The slim-profile maple/nato neck offers smooth playability, complemented by a soft Venetian cutaway for upper-fret access. Finished in a Satin Black (-5S) coat, this guitar is available now at Sadek Music with official warranty and fast delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
