Taylor Custom Gold Label #13069 Grand Auditorium - Bocote & Striped Western Red Cedar

Experience the pinnacle of Taylor’s master luthiery, available through Sadek Music. This Custom Gold Label Grand Auditorium is the result of uncompromising artistry, where hand-selected tonewoods and intricate Cindy inlays converge to create an instrument that is as visually breathtaking as it is sonically inspiring. The Tonewoods: Exotic & Articulate At the heart of this custom build is a meticulously chosen Bocote back and sides set, prized for its dramatic grain patterns and warm, dense tonal character. Paired with a Striped Western Red Cedar top, the result is an immediately responsive, “played-in” feel with rich harmonic depth—perfectly suited for fingerstyle players and light strummers seeking nuance and expressiveness. The Visuals: A Masterpiece in Koa & Abalone Every detail of Custom #13069 reflects refined elegance. The body, fretboard, and peghead are bound in Figured Hawaiian Koa, forming a luminous frame around the stunning Shaded Edgeburst finish. The iconic Cindy Inlay—an intricate vine rendered in Abalone and Mother of Pearl—flows seamlessly across the fretboard, bridge, and peghead, elevating this guitar to true collector-grade artistry.

Performance & Playability Outfitted with Gotoh 510 Antique Gold tuners for exceptional tuning precision and Taylor’s Expression System 2 electronics, this instrument is equally at home on stage or in the studio. Performance Bracing delivers a balanced, powerful voice with remarkable projection and clarity across the entire frequency spectrum. Exclusively offered by Sadek Music, this Custom Gold Label Grand Auditorium stands as a rare expression of tone, beauty, and craftsmanship—designed for discerning players and serious collectors alike.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
