Epiphone Artist Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured Electric Guitar - Aged Dark Red Burst

Solidbody Electric Guitar with Mahogany Body, Maple Veneer, Mahogany Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, and 2 Active Humbucking Pickups - Aged Dark Red Burst

The Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured meets at the aggressive intersection of thrash metal fury and 6-string elegance. This highly limited-edition signature instrument starts with the classic late-period Flying V formula of a fast-playing mahogany neck and a matching mahogany body, but the top takes a different turn; the AAA flame maple veneer top and sleek ebony fingerboard pushes this Flying right over the aesthetic edge. To keep up with this guitar’s bold looks, Epiphone loaded the Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured with a dual pairing of Active Fishman Fluence pickups that are specially voiced to capture the warmth and sonic might of a classic PAF-style humbucker. What’s more, you also get a convenient push-pull control to access singing single-coil tones when it comes time to dial down the heat. Simply put, the Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured’s hard-hitting combination of take-no-prisoners tone and Epiphone elegance is a surefire way to set you apart from the metal pack. Sadek Musical Instruments, we are excited to offer the Epiphone Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured, a guitar that perfectly fuses thrash metal aggression with 6-string elegance. This highly limited-edition signature guitar is a must-have for any serious guitarist or metal enthusiast looking to make a statement both sonically and visually.

Top-class tonewood overhaul

The Flying V may have begun life as a korina creation, but mahogany has arguably been the de facto tonewood for this angular instrument’s tenure as a metal icon. Why? Sweetwater guitarists agree that mahogany’s natural warmth and full-bodied response impart weight, authority, and formidable sustain to your leads and low-string riffage — all must-have qualities if you’re looking to dish out a helping of Mustaine-style brutality. Moreover, the Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured takes a leaf out of its single-cut sibling’s book — this guitar’s mahogany body is finished off with a gorgeous piece of AAA flame maple veneer that’s sure to capture the eyes (and the ears) of any audience.

Take the next step in your musical journey by visiting Sadek Musical Instruments to experience this stunning and powerful guitar firsthand. Whether you're looking to shred in the most brutal of styles or add a sophisticated touch to your collection, the Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured will ensure you stand out from the crowd.

Classic 24.75-inch scale length

Dave Mustaine has played quite a few “V”-style instruments in his 40-plus-year tenure at the helm of heavy metal, yet even his signature Gibsons typically sport an elongated scale length of 25.5 inches — around 0.75 inches longer than a typical Flying V. To switch things up, Dave opted for the latter on the Epiphone Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured to give this guitar a slightly looser feel, much more akin Gibson and Epiphone’s usual 6-string output. If you’re for an axe that can authentically cop a few riffs and rhythms off Rust in Peace or Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?, but boasts the easy playability of a standard Gibson 24.75-inch scale length, the Epiphone Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured fits the bill.  Stop by Sadek Musical Instruments to experience the Epiphone Dave Mustaine Prophecy Flying V Figured — a metal machine with easy handling that’s ready to bring your riffs to life. Whether you’re channeling Mustaine’s legendary sounds or forging your own path, this guitar is built to help you make a statement.
