Martin 000E Road Series Retro Plus Granadillo Acoustic Electric Guitar - Natural (PRE ORDER)

Wielding top-of-the-line tonewoods and iconic Style 28 appointments, the Martin 000E Retro Plus Granadillo brings a touch of high-end class to the stage-proven Road Series. Of course, this 000E’s star feature is its granadillo back and sides, singing with a bright, bell-like chime that mirrors the most sought-after sonic elements of premium rosewood. Topside, this acoustic-electric boasts a thermally aged torrefied spruce soundboard, capturing the worn-in and responsive vibe of a vintage Martin from your very first strum. Complete with scalloped spruce X-bracing, the 000E Retro Plus Granadillo supplies the superb string-to-string balance, touch-sensitive responsiveness, and nearly unparalleled versatility that’s served as the 000 style’s calling card for more than a century. Guitarists at Sadek Music appreciate this model’s select hardwood Performing Artist neck, elegant ebony fingerboard, and old-school nickel open-gear tuners, which ensure effortless speed and rock-solid tuning stability. Adorned with exquisite Style 28 appointments and the stage-bound LR Baggs Element electronics system, the Martin 000E Retro Plus represents the ideal marriage of top-of-the-line Martin spec, retro flair, and Road Series workhorse attitude, available at Sadek Music.

Thermally aged for a broken-in voice

Clearly inspired by Martin’s iconic 000-28, the Martin 000E Retro Plus ups the ante with a torrefied solid spruce top. Torrefaction is the process of thermally aging a piece of wood to emulate the sound and response of the well-seasoned timbers on a vintage instrument. Supported by scalloped spruce X-bracing and solid granadillo back and sides, the Martin 000E Retro Plus sings with a full and overtone-heavy voice that’s equally at home picking out delicate fingerstyle as it is serving strumming accompaniment.

Well-balanced 000 body shape

Smaller than a dreadnought but by no means a “parlor guitar,” Martin’s 000 body shape is a true 6-string Swiss Army knife, tackling everything from singer/songwriter strumming duties to melodic fingerstyle without batting an eye. Guitarists at Sadek Music champion this shape for its exceptional string-to-string balance and comfortable playability — a byproduct of the 000’s slightly reduced 24.9-inch scale length. All in all, the 000 body shape is an ideal choice for guitarists who clamor for full-bodied Martin tone in a more comfortable, balanced-sounding package, available at Sadek Music.

Amazing sound onstage

The 000E Retro Plus comes with LR Baggs's popular Element acoustic pickup system, a favorite among acoustic guitarists at Sadek. This system features a low-profile under-saddle transducer that enhances the coupling between the pickup and the guitar for a robust, lively, and natural acoustic sound with excellent dynamics and delicate high end. Combined with an onboard preamplifier and an unobtrusive volume control that's mounted just inside the soundhole, the Element gives your 000E Retro Plus the amplification you need, with no compromises on tone or convenience.
