Sadek Music, the Martin OM-28E stands as a true icon in Martin’s lineup, trusted for generations thanks to its balanced tone, timeless aesthetic, and unmatched versatility. With its Auditorium body shape, the OM-28E delivers beautifully even resonance across all six strings—offering deep bass, lush overtones, and crystal-clear trebles that work seamlessly for both fingerstyle and strumming. Crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, this model also features a longer 25.4" scale length for enhanced string tension, giving you slightly brighter tones with greater projection and sustain.

The satin-finished neck is shaped in Martin’s Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile with a high-performance taper for fast, comfortable playability. Classic appointments like a bold herringbone top inlay, antique white binding, a sleek ebony bridge with bone pins, and your choice of Fishman Aura VT Blend or LR Baggs Anthem electronics make the OM-28E a stage-ready instrument you can rely on.

Now part of Martin’s refreshed 2025 Standard Series, the OM-28E also features upgraded Sitka spruce GE top bracing—borrowed from the Modern Deluxe Series—for enhanced vintage tone and sustain. Refined design touches, including a reimagined neck profile, thinner fingerboard, and sculpted bridge and heel, elevate both the feel and visual appeal. Every OM-28E from Sadek Music comes with a protective hardshell case, making it the perfect companion for life on the road or in the studio.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
