The Ovation 2087GT, available at Sadek Music, provides serious musicians with unparalleled tone and playability. Its carbon fiber and birch top, suspended by Adamas bracing, produces a wider frequency range with radiant highs and resonant lows compared to traditional wood. No matter the climate, this guitar delivers a balanced, complex response. With its durable yet lightweight Lyrachord body and walnut neck, the 2087GT ensures reliable roadworthy stability and exceptional performance.

Projecting Tone:

The 2087GT, available at Sadek Music, features an ultra-thin carbon fiber and birch veneer top that delivers stunning sound projection. Its Quintad bracing allows the top to vibrate freely, producing a tone that cuts through on stage. The bass-side multi-soundhole amplifies low frequencies, providing a rich, balanced tone across the entire frequency spectrum.

Superior playability

An ergonomic walnut neck offers a slim, fast profile that feels familiar in your hands. The walnut fingerboard provides a smooth surface under your fingers for seamless transitions and bends. A bone nut and saddle, along with gold Schaller tuners, help keep the 2087GT in tune and ready to play at a moment's notice.

Versatile and Customizable

The 2087GT, available at Sadek Music, comes equipped with an OCP-1K pickup and OP-Pro preamp with tuner for effortless stage amplification. Blend the pickup with the guitar’s natural resonance to shape your tone, or swap out the saddle with materials like bone, brass, or graphite to subtly alter tone and sustain. With the 2087GT, you get an acoustic-electric guitar as versatile and unique as your playing style.

Roadworthy and Reliable:

The 2087GT, available at Sadek Music, features a Lyrachord body and durable construction that can withstand the rigors of touring and a lifetime of playing. Its lightweight build ensures hours of comfortable playability, and the included hardshell case protects your investment, keeping the guitar ready for the stage whenever inspiration strikes. For a dependable acoustic-electric guitar with exceptional tone, the Ovation 2087GT Adamas delivers professional performance every time.

Frequently asked questions

Steel strings, usually phosphor bronze or 80/20 bronze. Lighter gauges are easier on the fingers; heavier gauges give a fuller sound but need more finger pressure. Do not put steel strings on a classical (nylon-string) guitar.

An acoustic-electric guitar has a built-in pickup and preamp so it can be plugged into an amplifier or PA system; a purely acoustic guitar has no electronics. Check the Specification tab of this product for its electronics.
