The GEWA STUDENT series, available at Sadek Music, represents the perfect entry into the world of acoustic guitars with an excellent price-to-performance ratio. Designed entirely in Germany by experienced guitar builders, the GEWA STUDENT series focuses on outstanding playability. Important factors such as neck profile and string action are carefully optimized to provide a comfortable playing experience for beginners and developing musicians alike. These guitars are lightweight and well-balanced, featuring an okoumé wood neck with internal carbon reinforcement for enhanced stability and durability. The water-based eco-matt varnish offers a smooth, natural feel while contributing to the instrument’s open and resonant sound character by allowing the wood to vibrate more freely.

Every instrument is crafted with flawless workmanship in GEWA’s own production facility, ensuring reliable quality and performance. Factory-fitted German-made Hannabach 815HT strings complete the sound concept, delivering warm tone and excellent response. The GEWA STUDENT series is available in five commercial sizes, ranging from 4/4 to 1/4, including a selection of electro-acoustic versions to suit different playing needs and age groups

Frequently asked questions

Classical guitars come in 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full 4/4 sizes. As a rough guide, 1/4 suits about ages 4-6, 1/2 about ages 6-8, 3/4 about ages 8-11 and 4/4 ages 12 to adult, but height and arm length matter more than age. Send us the player's height on WhatsApp at +971 55 351 5764 and we will help you pick the right size.

Nylon strings (some sets use carbon trebles with wound bass strings). Never fit steel strings to a classical or flamenco guitar: the extra tension can damage the neck and bridge.

Both use nylon strings. Flamenco guitars usually have a lower action, a brighter and more percussive sound and a tap plate (golpeador) to protect the top; classical guitars are voiced for a warmer, rounder tone with more sustain.
