Acoustic-electric Guitar with Spruce Top, Sapele Back and Sides, Mahogany Neck, and Ebony Fingerboard - Natural
Sadek Music, the Taylor Next Generation 314ce ushers in a new era of Taylor tone, refreshing the classic Grand Auditorium platform with innovative Claria electronics and a deeper, warmer tonal profile. This stage-ready acoustic-electric preserves the hallmarks of Taylor’s 314ce design, from the Sitka spruce top’s sweet and dynamic tone to the crisp, defined voice of sapele back and sides. Taylor’s Scalloped V-Class bracing enhances the Grand Auditorium with X-brace-inspired character, providing a deeper low-end thump and more responsive resonance while retaining V-Class’s signature balance and projection. For amplified performance, the Claria under-saddle pickup system delivers plug-and-play simplicity, with soundhole-mounted Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls. Playability is elevated through the ebony-capped mahogany Standard Carve neck and Action Control Neck system, allowing precise adjustments to neck angle and action while boosting resonance. Combining time-honored Taylor design with modern innovation, the Next Generation 314ce is a versatile, workhorse Grand Auditorium—now available at Sadek Music.
Plug-and-play Claria System electronics
Road-tested and refined for over two years with the world's biggest touring acts, Taylor’s Claria System represents the next step in the brand’s ceaseless pursuit of acoustic-electric excellence. As opposed to the more sensitive and microphone-like performance of Taylor’s ES2, the Claria System features a single under-saddle piezo transducer paired with a powerhouse preamp to supply you with the warmest, most accurate acoustic-electric tone possible with the least amount of tweaking required — simply plug in, adjust your sound to taste via the Volume, Tone, and Mid-Contour controls, and you’re ready to go.
Rich and responsive Scalloped V-Class bracing
First launched in 2018, Taylor’s V-Class bracing revolutionized the brand’s sound with one of the most innovative advancements in steel-string technology in nearly a century. Here, Taylor has changed the game once again, tweaking the forward-thinking formula of V-Class by precisely paring away material from key locations of each brace.
Cutting-edge Action Control neck joint
At Sadek Music, we highlight Taylor’s cutting-edge Action Control Neck joint, a milestone in steel-string guitar innovation. For decades, Taylor Guitars has led neck joint technology—from Bob Taylor’s earliest bolt-on experiments to the adjustable NT Neck at the turn of the 20th century.
Under Andy Powers’ leadership, Taylor has once again redefined acoustic design with the Action Control Neck, a trailblazing bolt-on system that allows you to adjust the neck angle without removing the neck or loosening the strings. Fine-tune string height from shred-ready specs to a higher, strum-friendly action simply with the turn of a bolt. Routine maintenance and repairs, such as neck resets, are also simplified compared to traditional glued-in dovetail joints.
The long-tenon neck joint extends well into the heel, creating a stiffer connection between neck and body. This improves resonance, deepens the tone, and enhances low-end response—even on higher notes—delivering a versatile, performance-ready experience available now at Sadek Music.
