Epiphone Studio J-45 Acoustic Electric Guitar - Vintage Sunburst

Based on the legendary Gibson J-45 “The Workhorse”, this acoustic-electric guitar features a sloped shoulder body and 24.75” scale length, staying true to the original Gibson model. The result is a warm, rich tone with exceptional clarity, making it ideal for a wide range of musical styles and playing techniques. The J-45 Studio features a layered mahogany body with four-ply ivory and black binding on the top, single-ply ivory binding on the back, and a solid spruce top that produces a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that improves beautifully over time. Its mahogany neck, joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail joint, features a Rounded C profile for smooth and comfortable playability. A rosewood fretboard with 20 frets and pearloid dot inlays completes the elegant design. 

The strings are anchored to a belly-up rosewood bridge with ivory-colored bridge pins and a compensated plastic saddle for precise intonation and stable tuning. Vintage-inspired details include a teardrop-shaped dark tortoise shell pickguard, three-on-a-plate tuners with ivory-colored buttons, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock featuring the Epiphone logo in gold silkscreen. For live performance or recording, the J-45 Studio is equipped with Fishman® electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and Fishman Presys VT preamp with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls, allowing quick and discreet sound adjustments on stage.

Available in stunning Natural and Vintage Sunburst gloss finishes, the Epiphone J-45 Studio comes in both right- and left-handed versions and includes a standard gig bag.
