Bought the Epiphone MB100 to keep my fingers supple while in the UAE for long periods of time.
Although it's not as sweet or bright as my regular Banjo back in Scotland i can't fault the sound or the quality. It does the job and as an entry level banjo it is perfectly fine.
Have a couple of friends here that are now interested in learning, one made a purchase in the Uk at Christmas but left it there (now regretting this) the other is about to receive one of these for her birthday. If your in the UAE and interested in taking up the banjo there is no reason not to get one of these. Also great service from Sadek, arrived early with no problems. I put on a set of new strings though, and checked the position of the bridge. Also put a wee dampener inside to sweeten the tone. (pair of rolled up socks) clean not used. Have fun picking.
