Its glued-in mahogany neck enhances sustain and resonance, while the fast-playing SlimTaper™ C-profile neck is topped with a bound rosewood fretboard featuring 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid trapezoid inlays. 

The 12” fretboard radius makes chord playing comfortable and ensures smooth bends across the neck. High-quality Grover® Rotomatic® tuners and a Graph Tech™ nut, combined with a LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, deliver rock-solid tuning stability and precise intonation. The Epiphone SG Standard is powered by a pair of Epiphone’s acclaimed ProBucker™ humbuckers, delivering the unmistakable vintage SG tone.
