To commemorate 20 years since that first OM-28JM signature, Martin has released this OMJM John Mayer 20th-anniversary acoustic-electric guitar. Packed with Fishman Gold Plus Natural I electronics and top-shelf tonewoods like Engelmann spruce, East Indian rosewood, mahogany, and ebony, this signature will carry you away with its thoughtful design enhancements and formidable tone.

Top-shelf tonewoods impart a wonderland of sound

For the OMJM John Mayer 20th-anniversary acoustic-electric, the powerful forces of John Mayer and Martin put their heads together and created a stylish new take on the original design. With a merger of Engelmann spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, the OMJM resonates with supremely lush sound, full-bodied projection, and supreme note separation. This OMJM’s ample body is assisted to greater heights of voluminous projection by Martin’s 1/4-inch scalloped X-bracing pattern. Turn your attention toward the OMJM’s neck, and you’ll find an endlessly playable mahogany neck with a standard taper and thinner 1-11/16-inch width at the nut to facilitate smooth action — just how John likes it. Twenty frets adorn the silky smooth ebony fingerboard at a scale length of 25.4 inches. Topping off this sterling guitar are custom inlays, ebony bridge, nickel open-gear tuners, and compensated white TUSQ saddles.
