Epiphone proudly presents the Les Paul Standard 60s Figured, available at Sadek Music, an Inspired by Gibson tribute that faithfully recreates the feel, tone, and aesthetics of those legendary instruments. Epiphone’s long connection with Les Paul began in 1940 when he built one of the world’s first solidbody electric guitars while working at the original Epiphone factory in Manhattan. His first solidbody, nicknamed “the Log,” inspired the Les Paul Standard — widely regarded as one of the greatest electric guitars ever made.

The Les Paul Standard 60s Figured features a mahogany body with a maple cap and a highly figured maple veneer, delivering the rich midrange warmth of mahogany with a touch of brightness from the maple — essential to the iconic Les Paul tone. The highly figured veneer gives the guitar the stunning appearance of a much higher-end instrument. The glued-in mahogany neck has a fast-playing SlimTaper 60s C-profile with a long neck tenon for added stability and sustain. The rosewood fretboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid trapezoid inlays. The 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock is equipped with Grover® Rotomatic® tuners and a Graph Tech® nut for solid tuning stability. 

Strings pass over an Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge and are anchored by a LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece. Tone comes from a pair of critically acclaimed Epiphone ProBucker™ humbuckers — a ProBucker 2 in the neck and a slightly hotter ProBucker 3 in the bridge — delivering balanced tones across all three switch positions. Each pickup has individual volume and tone controls with high-quality CTS® potentiometers, topped with gold Top Hat knobs with dial pointers.
