The 110ce features a unique tonewoods marriage when compared to other cost-friendly Taylor guitars. It features time-proven solid Sitka spruce as its top, which gives you plenty of projection with the perfect amount of sparkle. Most notably, however, the Taylor 110ce is equipped with a sapele back and sides, enhancing the clarity and stability of your spruce's balanced nature while offering a touch of extra power. Additionally, a durable matte finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel to the touch.

Taylor's Expression System 2

Taylor's Expression System 2 uses a proprietary pickup behind the saddle. The pickup's three individually calibrated, precisely positioned piezo-electric sensors respond organically to the instrument's acoustic energy as it's transferred through the saddle. In concert with Taylor's custom-designed preamp, the result is a natural acoustic sound with incredible dynamic range and responsiveness to your pick or finger attack. Whether onstage through a PA, plugged into an acoustic amp, or direct into recording software, guitarists are impressed with Taylor's Expression System 2.
