Asymmetrical modern neck
The Epiphone Les Paul Modern is outfitted with a mahogany neck with an Asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile.
Guitar players around note that the neck has a "D" shape on the bass side and a flat "C" shape on the treble side.
It will comfortably fill your hand no matter whether you play thumb-over or thumb-behind.
As you work your way up the neck, you'll have total access to the upper frets, thanks to the contoured heel joint.
